A New Quaker Blog

Posted in Uncategorized at 3:36 pm by Max Hansen

I have put some Quaker-themed posts on my main weblog “The Alpha Mind.” However, I’ve started to think that, as I get more serious about posting, there will be very different audiences for my Quaker posts and my AlphaMind posts. So I’m separating them.

This new blog will be the Quaker blog. Just about everything else I think about will go on the other blog. I think life will be cleaner and easier this way.

    Hello, Max,

I know you have been blogging for some time, but I’m happy to see that you now have a blog specific to Quaker-related things. I’ll be stopping by to read!

Look forward to another Quaker blog. My own groove is such that I find that much of Quaker discource and many Quaker blogs are of more than a secular political bent than an attempt to deal with first-century Christianity.

Right now, and reading THE POWER OF THE LORD IS OVER ALL — a collection of George Fox’s epistles.

    Anyone else plumbed these depths?

    Max –

Drilled through to your material on James. Very cool. Having read my share of scholarly Biblical analysis, I much prefer the Quakerization of the scriptures by the intelligent lay person.
